Here, cloud computing resources used exclusively by a single business or organization. The private cloud can be physically located on a company’s on-site data center. They can be off-site as well. However, the entire data is within the organization’s firewalls. Only clearly defined user –roles have access to this data. With a private cloud, the same organization is both- the cloud consumer and the cloud provider. Thus, there exists a high level ofcybersecurity for private cloud data.
Multiple service providers- like Amazon, Cisco, IBM, Dell, and Red Hat build private cloudolutions.

Major benefits are:

  • High security, privacy, and reliability for private cloud
  • High control over corporate information for private cloud data
